Hello There!!!
------------------------------------------------------------

Some pretty big stuff has been happening is the land of Chrissytopia. Where to begin. Well if you didn't get a chance to check it out, might I recommend the season finale of Comedy Central show, The Detroiters. I'm in it!! That's me sitting in the same shot as Jason Sudeikis and local boys Tim Robinson and Sam Richardson. You can catch me sitting near the stage in a couple of scenes and if ya listen real close during the Al Borland montage, he yells briefly.... "CHRISSY MORGAN". So yes.. I am now famous! Such a fun series to watch. Tons of inside jokes and landmarks you'll just love seeing if you're from the Detroit Metro area. And they're all ready to start taping a second season. Who knows if I'll sign up to be an extra again??

So a handful of years ago I joined an online community to sell personalized singing telegrams on YouTube for $5. I did pretty well while I was there, making videos for loved ones all over the country. Problem was.. while the company is called "Fiverr" I made Fourer. And making videos, no matter how cheap the editing, took a bunch of time. And there were scheduled deadlines that I had no control over. I once had to do a video from my hotel room in New Mexico while on vacation and things got a bit tricky. Nonetheless, I decided to take the idea and run with it. Yes sales are a bit slower with a smaller base to connect to, but I'm able to manage everything the way I like it. Fast forward to me making a birthday greeting video for a fantastic and supportive friend of mine's nephew. She loved the video and happened to show her boss who owns the company Pet Gift Box. He had mentioned wanting me to do a video for the company!! WHAA?!?! I took on the challenge and not only
made a video, but I also came up with an original jingle! Not just that, but my video was shared to over 500K fans!!! Ya can't get better promotion than that.. and I got paid for it!!! So if you have a local business that's interested in a personalized jingle/ video, send them my way!

Next on the list of exciting news is one for the karma account. Musicians, artists, and performers are constantly donating their time to help raise money for events around town. It's part of the job and always feels good to do so. As part of my do-gooder inspired year, I'm taking things a bit further. I'm choppin my hair!! That's right, going straight cue ball to help raise money for St. Baldrick's. The money raised goes to research for children's cancer. First off, I have to say my co backup vocalist, Heather Mac, from Joe Jaber & The Last Divide was a major inspiration to me. She's done this twice and has raised more than $5000. Since this was a last minute decision, I set my goal low at $500. As of 5:01pm Saturday, I'm halfway there!!! So if ya see me next time wearing a hat, wig or scarf, you'll know it was for good reason!! Should you wish to donate your time, money or hair....

P.S. I'll be donating my actual hair to https://www.childrenwithhairloss.us/

Please tell me how you are. It's been a while. Find your passion and find ways do it everyday!!!

Movin on up,
Chrissy Morgan
