WOWdiddy WOW WOW WOW!! So much has happened in the last couple of weeks. I mentioned in the last Chrissytopia Times that I redid the video for My Old Friend (https://youtu.be/lDg8DN3D4O0 ) . Well as of today, there's 117 views in less than 3 weeks! That's amazing, especially considering I have some videos on my YouTube page that have been on there from 10 years ago barely hitting 50. Also, the Chrissy Morgan & Susie Woodman full opening set for Boney James (https://youtu.be/am5-GESBz6Y) has climbed it's way up to 272 views. What's crazy about that one is that YouTube does NOT count a view if you don't watch a significant portion of the video...that Boney James video is 20 minutes long?!!! And to add to the YouTube updates, on January 14th I made a call out on my Facebook page for one more subscriber to make an even 100 and today we're at 130!! Thank YOU!!

And now.. this volume is called "On The Radio", because SIMPLE LOVE SONGS is making its way to the airwaves as well. On February 14th you can hear Simple Love Song on the award winning, Women Of Substance Radio Podcast which will be heard "by our over 10,000 monthly listeners" and promoted to "over 60,000 social media followers". WHA??
The podcast is hosted by Bree Noble who also runs the Female Entrepreneur Musician podcast. I've been listening to FEM for quite some time. The interviews are inspiring and I always learn different and creative ways to make a living as a musician. Speaking of Spotify.. whatever your thoughts are... the tune Simple Love Song (https://open.spotify.com/track/1aXp2WVj8DNhmm6fxLee9O?si=147e3b3eb5f44959) has been going international baby!! I've always thought that these songs would have a life of their own outside of my head... and well that's certainly the case!! I can only assume that these numbers are related to being a part of the WOS playlist, and this makes me all the more excited to watch the numbers grow after the 14th.
Selections from SIMPLE LOVE SONGS have also been played on Brent Sawicki's MUSIC IN THE MITTEN. He posts weekly episodes on SoundCloud and then moves them permanently to his website. Lemme tell ya. This guy has excellent taste in music, so it's a real honor to be on his show.If you're the type of person that thinks there isn't any good music out there, then I highly suggest that you let Brent 's knowledge and passion ease ya into 3 hours of songs that you have never heard before from record labels putting out music from all over the world.

GW and his wife run the station and thrive on promoting local Michigan musicians. I'm so grateful for my 2+ decades in the scene and even more so to have my music played alongside my idols during the 10am/ 10pm jazz hour.

And it's not just streaming friends... I found the coolest 7 days a week college radio station in KY. It's called WRFL and it's programming is all over the place, which is exactly what my ADHD music brain LOVES!!! Well I recently got the email stating that they would "love to have (my) songs in their library". What a lovely welcoming to this state.
