While Vocal Mentor, Chrissy Morgan, has no degree that goes along with her teaching, she has passion, experience, energy, and empathy. These qualities are thoughtfully put together to help those that are just starting to find their singing voice.
Chrissy has had a passion for singing since she was very young. Performing first in grade school and then continuing on to showchoir and musical theatre where she was voted “Most Musical” her senior year. Wanting to expand her experiences, she participated in local and community theatre. In hopes of making singing her career, Chrissy sang her way through music festivals, tours, both tv and radio performances, along with studio recordings as a backing vocalist for a variety of musically styled bands. As a front woman, Chrissy shares her energy singing for the original rock band Bricktown Station, her jazz band, Chrissy Morgan and her Fabulous Band, and the acoustic cover band, ABC/ Acoustic Bruce and Chrissy. More recently Chrissy has been focusing on her solo career, co-writing her first solo original album, Simple Love Songs. Working at the School of Rock began her enjoyment of teaching before moving on to private vocal lessons where she can cater each session for her students, empathizing with their needs and personal goals, and learning through real world situations.
