You know, sometimes you just have to book yourself the big gigs once in a while just to make sure you're still on the right path. Nothing against the farmer's markets and corner busking, but sometimes you just need to share your vocals to the finer diners. The London Chop House is just "oozing with history". Just found out it was considered one of the top 10 restaurants in the 60's by THE James Beard. Yah sure that's a long time ago, but that wouldn't stop this classy joint from keeping up with the times. Sure it's still located in the basement on Congress, but it's guests have included everyone from Frank Sinatra and Jimmy Hoffa to Kid Rock and Barbara Streisand (likely on Barbara tip.. she used to perform at what was the caucus club across the street back when her career was just beginning) and everyone who's everyone else has popped on by at least once for a special meal.
