Hello There!!!

There is no way that I could have predicted that this year would include back-to-back astral viewings of life changing proportions. Last weekend my hubby and I decided to go on a much needed camping trip to Northern Michigan to watch The Perseid Meteor Shower. We've camped at this location before and were not disappointed by how many stars were visible, so we knew we just had to come back. We counted over 20 meteors flying over our heads with tails as big as the sky itself. After each one flew by we would both be just as amazed as the next. Of course we've all seen shooting stars before, but it always feels like a new experience the moment after one passes by.
And then, not three days later, my awesome brother had offered me to tag along on a road trip to Nashville to see THE solar eclipse. He picked the absolute perfect spot to view it. We were on the Tennesee/ Kentucky border in the middle of nowhere parked along some farmland. My brother had perfectly planned out where we could get the most viewing time of totality and with a full 2 minutes and 40 seconds. We had enough time to fully enjoy all there was to experience and I will never forget it.
As I write this newsletter I'm still taking it all in...
There is also no way that I could have predicted that this year would include a couple of pretty big back-to-back performances of The Chrissy Morgan Trio to close out the summer. Yes I have worked pretty hard to get myself here, but there's just something different about these two. These aren't performances for the dinner crowd or the late night drinkers. These are the kind of gigs that put my name right alongside some of the most talented performers in the Detroit Metro Area. As much as I have worked so far, it still feels like I'm at the very beginnings to the next steps of my professional career.
There is no way that I can predict where the rest of this year is destined to take me. What will I remember 2017 for? As I write this newsletter I'm still taking it all in...

As I head towards my "professional career", I find that it's due time to edit my YouTube page. This is the first video I had posted 9 years ago. Not my most flattering, but more importantly, not the video to represent the Chrissy Morgan name for the first time visitor. I'll be slowly retiring videos from the past and posting their farewells and some info about each on my Chrissy Morgan Singer Facebook fan page. In the meantime enjoy the giggles at my expense.
